Architecture Tour Java

Indonesia is sweeping landscapes, abundant flora and fauna, delicious food, an average temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and amazing hospitality.

But Indonesia is more. It is also the largest former colony of the Netherlands. Tangible and intangible testimonies of this colonial period are still around in abundance: customs, vocabulary, food and architecture.

If you want to experience colonial architecture inside and outside, now is the time. From April 28 until May 14, 2012 I will again guide an inspiring, exclusive and specially designed tour. The tour will bring you to the many highlights of Indische architecture while simultaneously introducing you to the many aspects of Indonesian culture, varying from food to dance and from religion to adat (unwritten law).
